10am: get ready to head home & help Slava move
12pm: moving stuff & lunching in LA then driving to Chino to get clean up

late: SLEEP! ahhhh finally.....

morning: do some housework .. car cleaning and chillen with my dad & doggies.
5 or 6pm: head back to irvine (maybe LA first?)

H E A R T B R O K E N
so just YESTERDAY i posted a happy
blog ... cuz i felt so content and ready to chill 'n party and what
not. and indeed i DID toke it up and drink it up last night @ ed's ...
twas quite a chill time cuz i hadn't done that in a long time.....
started chillen at 9 and stopped drinkin at like 1 ... fell asleep at 3.
the next morning ....
i get a call at 8am from my madre and i was quite surprised they did and sometimes i dont' answer their call if it's that early... but i did.
my heart breaks ... my Grandma "Veron"
(Veronica) passed away in the Philippines early this morning our time.
she took care of my for my first 18 years in life ... i was the reason
that she & my grandpa came to the states. she was quirky and
stubborn but she loved me very very much. i could make her laugh
easily even though she could barely hear me ... and she and i share a
lot of the same qualities ... and even though she left the states when
i was 18 ... and i had to tell myself that "this might be the last time
you see her" kind of thing, i still had hopes that i'd see her again
... she was my last grandparent ...
part of me feels sooo
guilty cuz i was at my friend's pad having fun drinkin & smoking
while she was suffering ... i don't know ... it's just one of those
feelings of "torn" i can't even begin to fathom. sigh. | | |
| been a while since i've written something ... all is well in my life as of right now.
highlight of yesterday: VDC (Vista Del Campo) had a vistapalooza night which was basically a big carnival full of FREE FOOD which of course, my roomies & i took advantage of. I got BEAT sumo wreastling my roomate Yun Soo .. it was great... i have no balance or coordination... but its all good. i also reminisced with my roomies and kept them up til like 3am.. but yeah.. sorry!! he he
highlight of today: REGGAEFEST '05 hit up UCI ... free burgers, drinks, charicatures 'n other stuff. the music was cool and it was just .. a nice time at the park. i didn't plan on going cuz i didn't wanna go alone, but when i skipped class to go work out, i wound up right by the reggaefest when it was starting and no one was there.. so i was there from 12pm til like 3pm! fun stuff and good music.
school is winding down but picking up at the same time. i'm at work right now and i gotta study my ass off but i am totally craving some good tokin 'n drinkin time @ my homie's right now .. so it looks like i'll be there after work! =D
i've been hanging out with the cousins lately as well as with my roomies!! we went to k-town to eat a bomb ass dinner and also to the grove to walk around and admire the prettiness of LA. the cousins are good ... unfortunately, the next time i see 'em is at jin's graduation.. but its all good cuz this summer ensures lots of beachin and sushi nights!
i'm trying to take it easy and not stress as much about life .. cuz really, what good is life if you're stressing all the time? so yeah ... i haven't really ACCOMPLISHED much as of yet, but i'm still smiling!

| week in recap:
was quite a good week. i was able to work out almost every day
this week ... went to all my classes and even had a DATE in the middle
of the week! kg & i saw kung fu hustle ... twas VERY
entertaining! it was nice seeing him like that ... hee hee. a
little semi nervous about my upcoming midterm .. but all in all, i'm
feeling relaxed.
summer's starting up and i'm missing my girls. i know they have finals coming up, so GOOD LUCK to ya'll!!
i've still got lots of crap to do: school, work, bills, having fun, etc, etc.
anyway, gonna get ready to go to class ... have a good day!

| what a weekend!
to recap a great relaxing weekend after a hellish week:
friday - had the worst midterm EVER that i'm CONFIDENT that i failed... BUT i spoke with my counselor and she made me feel A LOOOOOT better and i THINK ... i'm pretty sure i'm gonna graduate in 4 years!! if anything, i'd have to take summer school after i graduate, but hopefully that won't happen. then i went to chino hills and chilled w/ my mama & papa. we ate at dono sushi and it was quite tasty. i knocked out very early that night ... i had to catch up on all the sleep i had lost from the week before.
saturday - lounged around a bit and got ready to go to this wedding reception for the son of our family/church friends. i got all hawaiined up and we headed to riverside. as my parents and i drove along the boonies, we pulled up to a nice neighborhood with a BEAUTIFUL backyard. OMG i can't even begin to describe it ... it was prolly an acre big, with a professionally lanscaped garden and a couple of old horse stables that is now used as a BAR. A humangous koi pond with submarine sized fish and a gazebo that held one of the greatest "wedding bands" ever along with a dance floor! not to mention the wonderful interior of the house ... the great food... the beautiful tables and of course, the beautiful couple! the groom is half igorot half black and he looks like a dark version of lenny kravitz and the wife is a beautiful dutch (?) woman who looks like a model & is really sweet. we kinda got tipsy sippin on mai tai's and pina coladas ... performed a kick ass impromptu performance and then hit the road to see jin's last luau. her luau was really awesome, they did a great job and all of us lost our voices screaming our asses off for her.. and then james when he went up there to shake his booty. SCHMINCEST! my parents along with the laoyan's went to morongo and we all went to lyn's place and sipped on some mangorran. it was lovely. just me and my lil cousins... ha ha ha. well actually, it was practically karla & i that finished the fricken bottle. fukin alcoholics. went home at 2 and knocked out. it was great.
sunday - mother's day i woke up for "church" at 1045am and church started at 11am! oops... my parents werent up yet, so i cooked breakfast and my parents and i ditched church and watched movies all day in our PJ's til my dad left for work. karla & her parentals came by to my house while i was in my 80s clothes to steal my mom from me and ditch us. they went to the casinos and i had a wonderful date with my ALI sister, karla. we at @ L&L, drove around the mysteries of chino hills, caught up with JEFF at LA Fitness and ended our night with kicking off bowling season! i started off strong with my game, but dwindled down to a pulp. left for irvine expecting no parking, but found a spot right in front of my apartment!! so .. all in all, it was a great weekend. hopefully, pictures to come later. | | |
